A lot happens in a day around here. There are lots of meals & snacks, lots of playing with this and that. Here are a few pictures from the past couple weeks of the littles in action.
I call this Evelyn’s “job”. She feels the need to tear the paper off crayons, or anything else she can find. When I find her in this pile of a mess concentrating I say “your working again?”.
I call her a “picker … or label peeler”. She literally can not help herself.
She has wrecked many a book if there is anyway she can peel the paper off. Seems to me though that if I let her do this craziness, she is less concerned with the books. Another benefit is that is really quiet while working, a huge plus in the van.
No crayon is safe in her hands … not even pretty pink ones.
Mathias has a little different take on the crayons. He likes to pick them up.
I thought that by making these shots black & white you wouldn’t be able to notice how terrible dirty he was. It didn’t work. Apparently he did not get washed up after dinner.
This is our new normal.
Blankets, drinks, and a cold and probably dirty kitchen floor. Goofy.
Another regular scene these days is breakfast with Daddy.
They eat their breakfast and then request the sharing of his oatmeal. They won’t take it from me, just him.
While Evelyn was passing time in the car on our little road trip she got creative.
Normally it contains crayons without paper wrappers, not feet.
Did I tell you that Evelyn taught Mathias to refuse to pose for a picture.
She is such a good big sister.
Love them and all those quirks.
